Hi, I’m Andy from Initial IT. I built this tool because most of the businesses we talk to in Lichfield, Staffordshire and the West Midlands are either paying for Microsoft 365 apps and security they will never use, or quietly missing the protections that matter. The tool gives you a sensible starting answer. It defaults to Microsoft 365 Business Premium for office staff (the only SMB tier with proper threat protection and device management bundled in), F3 Frontline for shop floor or phone-only staff, and an Exchange Online Plan 1 for each shared mailbox.
What it cannot do is account for your existing Microsoft commitments, your reseller agreement, your sector-specific discounts or the few edge cases where Business Standard plus a bolt-on actually is the right call. For those, the answer is a five-minute chat. The tool gives you the number to bring to the conversation.
